Guya 8 String Lap Steel. No specific dating information but likely to be 1970's and made in Japan. Transparent red finish ash body, and with the exception of the Guya slide pickup selectors, pretty much a straight copy of a Fender Stringmaster. A few very minor finish marks and two pro finish repairs - one at the top corner near the tuner pan, the other on the back in the same position which are a little darker red, the volume and tone pots replaced with CTS replacements and new chrome knobs. Otherwise all original and in very clean condition. Good output and excellent tone from the pickups and plays very nicely. A great poor man's Stringmaster. Comes in a heavy duty, home made wood grain laminex finish hardcase.
